Love Brand | Mehdi Amri among the Moroccans’ favorite influencers

Each year, the Love Brand ranking, unveiled during the event Les Impériales, maps the brands and personalities most present in the minds of Moroccans. The 2025 edition also confirms the growing influence of content creators within the national media ecosystem. Among them, Mehdi Amri appears in the ranking of the most cited personalities, securing 5th place in the Influencers category.

Love Brand 2025: a study based on strong indicators

Conducted by the research firm Imperium, the Love Brand survey relies on a structured methodology designed to measure the real preferences of Moroccan consumers.

Key indicators illustrate the scope of the study:

  • More than 3,200 respondents interviewed
  • A panel distributed across Casablanca, Rabat, Salé, Tangier, Fes, and Marrakech
  • More than 1,700 brands analyzed
  • Over 700 personalities and creators cited

The study combines two complementary approaches: a spontaneous response phase followed by a sector-assisted phase. This dual analysis helps distinguish instinctive awareness from guided recognition, offering a more refined understanding of public preferences.

Mehdi Amri’s notable position in the Influencers category

Beyond brands, Love Brand also highlights personalities capable of leaving a lasting impression on public opinion. Mehdi Amri’s presence in 5th place in the Influencers category reflects the growing impact of content creators in Morocco’s digital ecosystem.

A Belgian-Moroccan freestyle footballer and content creator, Mehdi Amri was born in Uccle and grew up in Vilvoorde, near Brussels. From a Moroccan family originally from Agadir, he discovered football at the age of four before turning to freestyle football and panna, a spectacular discipline centered on technical skills and nutmegs.

A world champion in freestyle football

Over the years, Mehdi Amri has established himself as one of the recognized talents of street football on the international stage. His career includes several distinctions, notably:

  • Panna U16 World Champion in 2017 in Copenhagen
  • Several Pannahouse Invitational world titles
  • Multiple Belgian Panna championship titles

These technical and spectacular performances have earned him international visibility in the freestyle football scene.

Fame amplified by social media

Alongside his sporting career, Mehdi Amri quickly developed a presence on digital platforms. His videos combining freestyle football, technical challenges, and lifestyle content have attracted a wide audience.

He now gathers more than three million followers on Instagram, along with a strong community on TikTok and YouTube, making him one of the most followed sports content creators in his field.

His popularity has also led him to collaborate with major players in sports and industry, including Nike, RSC Anderlecht, Bayer Leverkusen, and the Royal Belgian Football Association.

An influence that goes beyond the field

Mehdi Amri’s visibility now extends beyond freestyle competitions. He has participated in several international projects, including content produced with FIFA around the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Alongside his digital activity, he has also developed an entrepreneurial dimension with the creation of a freestyle football academy in Belgium, aimed at passing on the discipline to young enthusiasts.

Trends revealed by Love Brand 2025

The study’s results highlight a gradual shift in the expectations of Moroccan audiences. Respondents increasingly value personalities perceived as authentic, accessible, and consistent in their communication.

Thanks to its methodology based on spontaneous responses, Love Brand has become a strategic tool for understanding engagement mechanisms and observing the transformation of Morocco’s media landscape.

Mehdi Amri’s presence in the ranking confirms the growing importance of sports influencers and content creators in the collective imagination and their ability to bring together large audiences.

Love Brand 2026: a new barometer ahead

The next edition, scheduled for March 31, 2026, will serve as a new perception barometer for brands and public personalities. It will identify those capable of consolidating their position in public opinion.

For Mehdi Amri, as for the other distinguished profiles, the challenge will be to confirm the momentum observed in 2025. More broadly, the upcoming edition is expected to reveal new figures set to emerge in the national media ecosystem.
